Woman who lit Grand Central facade dies (The State)


Sylvan R. Shemitz, whose lighting designs warmed the facade of Grand Central Terminal and flooded the Jefferson Memorial, died earlier this month while sailing his boat, the Light Fantastic, on Long Island Sound.
